Welcome to project 365. This writer of ghost stories, mother of two, and wife to the Professor, aka "Ghost Hunk" (for 18 years), finds inspiration everyday, even if she sometimes forgets. So for the next year, I will document these little epiphanies, whether it's a bug on the windshield or some brilliant, breathless moment in this crazy life or something in between.

Day 2

A storm is a-brewin'.  As the news reports come in today, describing tornadoes and dangerous thunderstorms in the Southwest and moving east through Kentucky, we await the blustery night. The winds are already whipping up a good one, and the white cotton-candy clouds are running for their lives from the black wall that is heading this way.  Angel Jr. has come into the garage for safe-keeping (no more bunny funerals, thank you) and the lawn furniture has been tucked away.

This mama will be keeping a sharp eye out tonight, ready to herd the kids downstairs if the winds become truly dangerous.  And yes, those are stadium lights you see.  The high school is located just behind our house.  We can hear the "ping" of baseball practice even now...
